Workshop 2: Weed & Pest Management

When: 1-2pm

This workshop will cover three topics. Learn about integrated pest management and how to create a habitat for beneficial insects and how to mitigate annoying unwanted weeds! Also, learn how to make bat and birdhouses to attract insectivores.

The farm team will also go over companion planting and herbs, as well as what is a weed. Learn how to differentiate between unwanted and wanted garden “weeds”.
